I have enjoyed taking pictures since I was a teen.  In my thirties I spent several years working for a print shop developing film, making halftones and working on the presses. I was fascinated with the process and enjoyed seeing various photographers bring in their work.  Shortly after that, I received my first 35mm camera, as a gift, and put together a black and white darkroom in a closet.  I later had the opportunity to study photography full-time at a community college in NC.  Wow, that was fun!   In 2009 we moved to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, with its beautiful mountains and valleys. I hope to update this site soon!!
